Scattered was an understatment

Jen was so kind to say that I'm not an idiot, but "scattered."  After today, I think brain dead may be a better explanation.  I got up, got ready, and was out the door by 3:55 AM.  After an hour and a half drive, I got to the airport and went to grab my suitcase, but it wasn't in the car.  I carried it out to the car before coming in to give hugs and kisses goodbye.  All I did was carry it into the garage, and never put it in the car.

Here I sit in Salt Lake City, with my purse and my briefcase.  They will be all I have until tomorrow some time after Dana spends a fortune overnighting my toiletiries and a few dresses.  I almost cried, I really wanted to when I realized my mistake.  But now, I just find it funny.  Even if most (if not all) of my spending money will be spent shipping my essentials.  Danielle is also kind enough to do a bit of shopping for me, as Dana couldn't ship everything.

I'm currently looking for a good babysitter.  Must be able to make reservations, put luggage in the car, and generally ensure that this 32 year old doesn't wander off unattended.

Oh, my goodness, Tysa! That is hysterical! Sad, but hysterical!

I am so OCD when I travel that I double and triple check everything! When I went on a cruise, I actually brought stuff I thought other people might need!

I talked to Dana and he didn't understand how you could do this. This is not like her at all , he said. I reminded him that you had a lot on your plate right now and unfortunately I DID undestand how that could happen! Sometimes husbands don't get it. The family saying that you married your father really is true!

I'm with Barb. I think it is hilarious, also I will reimburse you the $$ so you can laugh about it too.

Ehh, you gave me an excuse to go to Value Village. With my child this time, as I have not brought her in about a year and a half. It used to be that she would take one look at that place and immediately tell herself, "aha, the place where I act bad." She must not remember that, because was good this time. I could have cracked out the coupons and gotten you lots of toiletries for cheap...
See you tomorrow.
Hope you're enjoying your margarita.

OMG that is so sad. I would be crying my eyes out! I'm glad you can laugh about it. Do we need to pin notes to your clothes?

I read this a long time ago but didn't comment. I ran out of phrasology to use :)

I love your Mom's comment - that's precious. My grandmother mailed me money for a speeding ticket once and told me not to tell anyone. I think about that sometimes and it makes me grin and want to cry at the same time.

Have a good week TJ!
