I'm going to tell you a little something about me. It will help you realize how strange I am (just ask Dana and the kids). Quite often I will dream numbers, data, and lists, constantly repeating the information to solve a problem or format things correctly. When I worked at Camp Fire it was reconciling candy sale numbers, when I moved to United Way it became the codes for the CFC or ad hocs. Now that I blog, I quite often write my posts while I dream. Good thing there is no publish button in my dream or you all would have me committed.
For instance I dreamed the list of things on my birthday post, over and over. Last night it was a list of reasons while I was glad to be back from our camping trip. Not that I can actually come up with more than 3 reasons, but in my dream there were many and I was busy getting the post formatted just right. My number one reason was the warm welcome back from Jen (dustbunny hostage). That never changed. I cannot remember the rest from my dream, but I can tell you that I was happy to sleep in our regular bed and am glad to get the kids back on their regular schedule.
We did enjoy ourselves though, in spite of the snow! Yes, it did snow on us, a couple of times. I do have some fun photos that I'll be posting soon.

Another Dream
I had another travel dream last night, which if you remember from my interpretation post is actually about progress toward goals. For once I see the meaning of my dream. I just hope that real life travel goes better than my dream travel.
Yesterday I scheduled a laproscopic surgery. I'm having a tubal ligation and endo removal. This is all in hopes that I can start living my life without the need for painpills several days per month.
This was a big decision for me for two reasons.
1) Am I really sure that there will be no more kids for me? This has been a decision that has taken me several months to reach. I didn't want more children, but was afraid if I changed my mind in 10 years. Once I realized how obsessively I'm trying to not get pregnant, and how afraid I am of becoming pregnant, and thinking how hard this up all night stuff is at 28 and then trying to imagine it at 38... No my 2 wonderful children are the last I will give birth to.
2) I hate anesthesia. I don't like waking up and being unable to move or communicate when I want. I hate that dream world, where I think I've moved my hand, but realize that I haven't. But I know that I'm an adult and need to make the decision that is best for me, not the one I'm least scared of.
So I've already begun some frozen meal planning to get us through until I'm up for real cooking again (Dana would probably say I don't do too much of that anyway). If you have any great ideas, feel free to share them. I hope to have some meals in the freezer and a clean house. I have exactly 3 weeks to accomplish all of that, and if you've seen my housekeeping skills, you know that it will take me the entire 3 weeks.

Dream Interpretation
Since I got very little sleep last night, I was pondering the dreams I had while I did sleep. I tend to have recurring dreams. The same themes come up often. Last night was a travel dream, which apparently represents progress toward goals. I'm not sure how living in a caravan (our family loaded the trailer with most of our belongings, and traveled with others we know for an extended period of time, to no specific place, & without giving up our permanent dwelling) represents progress, but that's what the experts say. I often dream that I'm traveling somewhere, for business or pleasure, but I'm never fully prepared.
It's too bad I don't have Joseph to share my dreams with, and none of my dreams seem to mimic any of the biblical dreams, but I'll share them with all of you.
A recurring place in my dreams is this cemetary. It is huge & takes up a large part of the center of town. It is fenced with huge white iron gates. Inside is the most brilliant green grass, beautiful green trees, white statuary, and sometimes white stone... not sure the best description, but there are steps and columns, an outdoor room or arena maybe. As you can tell by my description, there aren't many graves, but it is a cemetary and it's far more beautiful than any park I've ever been to. Sometimes good things happen in my dreams there sometimes bad. But it is always awe inspiring and I love waking up after having spent my dream there.
Another dream I love is the planet dream. In these dreams the celestial bodies aren't millions of miles away. Nope they are up close to earth & we can sit out in the yard, or in front of a window and see a show more spectacular than any fireworks. Comets and planets as close as the clouds. Sometimes this is part of an "end of the world" dream or can be accompanied by a volcano erupting which is an amazing and gorgeous sight in my dream, but most often it's just a beautiful sight that I take in.
I do have the college dream, that doesn't revolve around tests, just that I can't remember what classes I should be at each day & what time. Usually the result is I've forgotten to attend a class for weeks & I'm afraid of failing. It's almost always a science class, not one of my best subjects in real life.
Then there is the public restroom dream. I search and search for a clean stall that also is private, but cannot find one. They are always open or worse open & co-ed. This dream I guess has to do with vulnerability & acceptance from others.
There are others, but I'll share later. What are your thoughts?
