Oops, I had no idea how dirty my wall is, until I took this photo.
I'm participating in Kelli's Giving Thanks week, and today, I am thankful for family.
Saturday night my mom came over and helped me pick up the disaster area we call home. I didn't feel good, had very little motivation, and just couldn't figure out where to start. In the short time she was here, we managed to clean the front room and dining room and vacuumed. All that's left is the TV room, and I can handle that.
Mo spent Sunday night with Dana's parents. This way, I can take Kaia to school and then Dana and I will head over to the hospital for his surgery.
I'm thankful our families can help us at this time. I'm also thankful for all the prayers and well wishes from all of you. I cannot believe my favorite holiday is just days away. It has been so hectic around here. I am excited to see all of the Giving Thanks posts, and get ready for this wonderful holiday.

It's such a blessing to have family to help us through difficult times and also to share in the good times. I hope Dana's surgery goes well.

What sweet little ones...enjoy every single sticky fingerprint...someday, you will have an clean home...but, it will not be the same...they grow up so fast!
Hope all goes well...
Blessings,

That was very loving of your mom to do, I certainly could have used that type of help when my littles were very little!
Funny about your wall, and how you notice things in photos that you don't normally see. I take photos of my home from time to time to see Objectively what I need to do...LOL

Hey, can your mom come over and help me too? : ) (Check out my home mess at my blog if you need some commiseration!)
Yes, family. . . where would we be without family?!
Oh, sweetie! The world doesn't stop just because mom isn't feeling well does it? Yea for your mom's willingness to help! Hoping you feel better soon:) (precious daughter you have there:)
It's so nice to have family nearby. Most of my family lives in CO and we're not able to head up there this year for TG. But, we are moving there in the spring, Yay!
Happy TG,
Brenda :)

You are so blessed that your Mom can be there for you. I lived thousands of miles from my Mom when my kids were little. That was hard.
