Wednesday Night Supper

Dinner tonight continues to be cheap, gluten free and pretty healthy.  I'm cooking up 2 pork chops and several organic chicken drumsticks.  Both were purchased for $1.28 a pound.  This morning I boiled potatoes, and for a few weeks now I've had hard boiled eggs in pickle juice, I'll add some onion and celery and a bit of mayo for a potato salad.  We will also have brussel sprouts.  I picked up a few bags of frozen sprouts when they were on sale.  What's for dinner at your place?

I found this chart the other day, and I found it very helpful.  I hope you do too!

We're going to KISS (keep-it-stupid-simple) and have fried rice tonight: leftover rice with sesame oil, fresh organic veggies, an egg, and some form of meat out of the freezer.

I made some salad dressing tonight by mixing raw apple cider vinegar, olive oil, tomatoes, onion, veganaise and feta cheese. Chopped up some cucumbers and tossed them in that dressing. That was dinner. Annalise didn't like it and had mac and cheese (not the contoversial mac and cheese with the moms starting petitions). Not as many sugar withdrawals tonight, but still some, so one cookie. :)
