Washington DC

We survived the heat, the humidity nearly killed us, and Obama didn't come to our awards ceremony.  We went to Obama, or his likeness anyway.  We didn't do nearly as many things as we would have liked, but our time was short and it was too hot to be active.  We did an evening tour of the monuments, which were phenomenal in spite of a power outage.  A ticket on the double decker bus allowed us to view much of the city in comfort and provided a nice way to get around town.  Overall it was a fabulous trip.

You look awesome! I can't believe you're the mother of 4, let alone 6 month old twins!

Congrats on your award. Sorry Obama couldn't make it. At least it looks like your trip was fun!
