What do you think?

I made my very first blog background!  It's pretty simple, but I like simple.  I'm still not sure that the colors of my background match the header.  But, now that I know how to do it, I'll probably play around more.  Hopefully the cream background is much easier on your eyes.  Also, if I can ever find some free digital frogs that I like, I will try and add them to the site.  So tell me what you think... even if you hate it.

I love your colors! It looks nice. My only suggestion is that I think my screen is taller than yours because there is quite a bit of white space at the top and bottom on my screen.

Thanks for the heads up. I have a bunch of white space on either side of my screen. I may make the background quite a bit bigger and see if it helps.

I see the white background on the sides too but it doesn't look bad.

I am so impressed that you are able to make your own! Aren't you something!

Much easier to read than the dark background.
I love the textured areas around the text.
Nice job.

Thanks! I enjoyed learning some new things while working on this. I am not having any luck expanding the background to fill the white spots... I'll have to do some research.

First off, let me say that I rarely pay attention to themes or templates. I read all posts in my reader for several reasons... colored or dark backgrounds are difficult for me to read and so many blogs have a baziliion widgets and gizmos that take forever to load, so I just come to the blogs to comment.

Now your blog is not overly busy, and I thank you for that! And kudos to you for doing your own designing. If I can't find it free somewhere, well, I'd be without!

I'll give you an A+ on this page. Easy to read & with my laptop no white on the sides. Granny
