It's another Show & Tell Friday at Kelli's. I missed last week, due to being ill, but I'm back.
Today I'm going to do something different. Rather than show an item I love in my home, I'm going to show you an item I've come to respect. I don't like it, wish we didn't need it, but it keeps my little Mo healthy, and that means everything to me. It's the nebulizer. If you don't know the story behind why we need it, you will find that in two separate posts. Hiatus and All clear for now. 
Mo hated it at first. Now, as you can see, he doesn't mind getting his steroid. And the other night, I pulled my carcass (at least it felt that way) out of bed at 11:30 p.m. to give him an albuterol treatment because he was so congested. He didn't fight, just kicked back on my lap, breathed in the medicine, and happily went back to sleep in his crib.
Now Kaia even knows that Mo gets a breathing treatment whenever he is sick. He takes a daily steroid during colds, and if needed albuterol. It is the best $120 we ever spent, because we have a happy, healthy boy with its help.

What a blessing that he doesn't fight the machine that makes him more comfortable. You are right that it's worth every penny if he can breath well with the treatments...

Our nephew was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when he was 11 months old. He's 19 now and my SIL was diligent in his treatments. I don't think he realized anything was different about him because he was so young and he didn't know anything else! Kind of gives the word, "Lifesaver" a whole new meaning!

ahhhhhh such a cutie. What a big boy though taking his medicine... just goes to show you that it really does make him feel better... the little cutie.
How wonderful that he doesn't fight taking his medicine. Even at his young age, he probably realizes how much better he feels after using this machine :-)

Yes he did not fighting to take it oh my when i was young even i am already a teenager my parents really force me to take my medicine when i got sick. Lucky you that your son is like that. Hopefully he will be healthy all the time. Mine is up..
What a good little boy cooperating like that! He's darling! So thankful for modern medicine and knowledgeable doctors!

Wow, that is just awesome!
My heart goes out to Mo. I was diagnosed with asthma when I was very little and have used an inhaler most of my life. Albuterol is a medication I know very, very well. I'm very happy to hear that he is adjusting so well, and will keep him in my prayers.

I read your two posts as to why you need it. Wow! What an ordeal to go through. Thankfully they found out what it was!
I used one during a flu I had. I breathed in silver instead of medication. It wasn't mine, but my brother in law who has asthma. Honestly I would like to have one just to have.
