Kaia finally has one. She says she just had an itch and scratched it. She's had it since New Year's morning, so it may have happened during all her wrestling with Charlie. She tripped New Year's Day while we were walking Sampson, but luckily no skin was lost just sore hands and knees and a dirty nose.
I went to the Dr. again today. I took these photos last night of the spider bite on my arm. I woke up with it on December 24th.
I have very bony wrists! This second photo is to show how swollen it is.
However, it is in fact NOT a spider bite. I finally went to the Dr. because after this many days I expected it to heal, not continue to look worse. It happens to be MRSA, which is an antibiotic resistant staph infection. Unfortunately it also has a negative connotation and my boss is now ready to have sanitizing wipes at my desk for the protection of everyone else. I tried explaining to him that until today it was a closed wound (Dr. had to open to get a swab of it) and that everyone should just stay away from me and my desk and that would be plenty protection. Plus there is there is the small fact that my Dr. wasn't concerned at all with me going back to work after my appointment.
So now I am on another antibiotic (still finishing the doxycycline from my sinus infection) and feel like a leper.
